About Glisland

Glisland is a quality and regulatory consulting firm founded in 1999 in San Jose - the Capital of Silicon Valley. It is located in the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area in California, United States. Glisland was further incorporated in Delaware in February, 2008. In its 10th anniversary, Glisland received The 2009 Best of San Jose Award in the Business Management Consulting category by the US Commerce Association.

Glisland provides integral solutions to assist pharmaceutical industry and medical device companies in dealing with dynamic and complex challenges in quality and regulatory management. Our integral solutions consist of three components: consulting services, regulatory information technology (RIT), and education. Glisland teams specializing in these three areas work in tandem to provide our clients with one-stop complete services.

Consulting

Our consultants have diverse backgrounds with well training in scientific and technical fields. Before becoming quality and regulatory professionals, we have worked as leaders and experts in the fields of research and development, engineering, non-clinical operation, clinical operation, quality controls, quality assurance, and manufacturing in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. This team of industry experts can quickly understand your issues and effectively deliver checked and balanced solutions, which can drastically reduce your unnecessary overhead costs and efforts.

While maintaining a good understanding of scientific and technical aspects of product development, our consultants keep up-to-date on regulatory requirements and consensus standards through continuing education from professional societies, such as Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) program from Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) program from American Quality Society (AQS).

Regulatory Information Technology

Information technology (IT) plays a vital role in product development, manufacturing, and all aspects of regulatory affairs. Our RIT team consists of system engineers and software engineers with track records of delivering effective IT solutions in regulated environments. The IT team seamlessly integrates with the consulting team to address computer and software validation issues and to provide custom software tools.

Education

In addition to providing routine regulatory compliance training courses, our education team works closely with the consulting team to develop custom courses and provides trainings to meeting our clients' need.
